I must say, I have been trying to keep on keeping on. I think people were a little concerned when I sent the less than 150 character status update up last thursday. I wanted to take this opportunity to tell you I am fine, and it was a healing experience. With healing experiences you find yourself in new territory. (Im sure some star trek fans could enter a quote here) But I am not going to do that. I realized today, that sometimes I need to just be still and let God. Sometimes I think God comes just in time and provides helps just enough. Over the course of my ministry, I have seen this along the road, and I feel that some of these times are when I grew the most as a minister, but also, grew the toughest skin and, equal to other times, when I was most vulnerable. I feel that I can not express how humbled I am lately, and it makes me look back at some times when God has taught us a thing or two in church planting here in detroit.
